Build trust, partnership, and effective communication with your equine companion, both in and out of the saddle.

Some of the most important work is done on the ground, not in the saddle. Working together, you will learn ways in which to communicate with your equine partner, build trust and confidence in each other; all that will transfer into working together in the saddle. I have worked with a lot of horses (and riders) with anxiety as well as horses with behavioral issues. Certain behaviors can become dangerous incredibly fast and the last thing I want is for someone to get hurt or injured. Lesson

I am a firm believer in continuing education. Our knowledge of horses and information about them is always evolving as we continue to learn more and more about them. Each horse is an individual and I treat and work with them as such; tailoring their training to their needs and understanding, developing their education and communication as I learn about each of them as the individual they are. The same applies to their human. Every horse I have ever worked with or ridden in my life has taught me something about them, about horses, and about myself. They will help you grow as an individual, if you are open to it, and I will joyfully help guide you in your partnership. The foundation to being a good and solid horseman or horsewoman, is learning how and building a partnership with your horse. I do not believe in fear-based training tactics. As I said earlier, I am a firm believer in continuing education. This applies to myself as a rider, a trainer, a horsewoman. I continue taking lessons and attending clinics with extremely reputable and knowledgeable individuals in the industry to continue developing my understanding, knowledge, and skills in riding and applying it to my own horses as well as into my teaching and training.
